`'Molino della Barazzina'' - a 16th century mill, is near both Lodi and Milan. 5 kms from the A1 motorway, which connects Milan with Naples,passing by Bologna, Florence and Rome. Coming from the north, the exit from theA1 is Lodi, whereas from the south , Casalpusterlengo. The Molino is also near the motorway which connects Piacenza with Torino and Genoa. The exit is Castel S.Giovanni. From the Molino, one can easily reach characteristic towns, such as, Lodi, Cremona, Mantua, Piacenza and Pavia. In the surrounding area there are many medieval castles, old country churches and excellent restaurants. The rooms are situated in a small bungalow, part of the 16th century renovated buildings, which make up the Molino's complex. Peace and quiet is what you will find, typical of the Padana Plain; by the river Sillaro, the flow of which, moves the milll wheel. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and if needed, the use of a kitchen. The rooms can be rented individually or together, and in addition there is also a garden for the use of the guests. It is ideal for both business trips and turism. We are also near 'Guado del Po', a stop on the famous 'Via Francigena' pilgrim route. We are willing to take our guests by car, if required. The owners are keen bridge players and would be pleased to be able to play with any guests with the same interest. We speak perfect Italian, but not so perfect English - but the beauty of the location is such that we are certain that our guests will forgive us for this lack.
