Lovely quiet room in a picturesque village location with Restaurants, pubs,Ale Bar and Coffee shops all 5 mins walking distance.Ideal for hiking, walking in the the local area of High Peak,Derbyshire Dales or visiting attractions such as Mam Tor/Blue John Caves in Castleton and the stately Chatsworth House.Train stations close by to the cities of Manchester/Sheffield and regular bus service to Manchester Airport.I am looking forward to welcoming travellers from all backgrounds and diversities PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE COMMENTS IN THE ‘ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE’ SECTION BELOW re size of the bed . The room has a lovely comfortable bed and is located at the rear of the property so the only noise you may hear are the birds;-) In your room I also provide Bottled Water, Kettle with Tea, Coffee, instant Hot Chocolate with a selection of Cereal Bars, Breakfast biscuits plus Porridge Pots . There is plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe plus chest of drawers. There is a small TV and ample plug sockets for laptops and chargers. There is information on local walks , areas of interest and restaurants in a binder in the room -plus WiFi code for excellent Internet connection Happy to answer any questions or give recommendations about the places to visit that I enjoy. Please don’t park on the road , there is ample private parking on the drive or gravel area, directly in front of my house ,right outside the front door. Space can be made in the kitchen fridge if needed. Sorry but NO cooking in the kitchen . Guests are free to use the Patio and Conservatory for reading or watching TV but the main lounge is for my sole use . Please be aware that in the type of job I do I won’t have access to my mobile or any internet for up to 4 hours at a time so can’t always respond to enquires /emails and messages immediately. If you need to contact me regarding possible early check in or change to the booking please give plenty of notice and if I can accommodate your request I certainly will . I can provide details of areas of interest nearby and provide leaflets and menus for local restaurants and cafes. I respect the privacy of guests but also happy to sit and chat over a cup of coffee or tea. The neighbourhood is mostly residential and very quiet with mature trees along the road and lovely walks in the area , without having to move the car . The centre of Chapel en le Frith is only a very short walk with nice cafes , bars and restaurants so no need for public transport or taxis . There is a train station in Chapel en le Frith with direct access to Manchester plus a station in the next village of Chinley with trains available to Edale , Hope Valley , Bamford , Grindleford and Sheffield and Manchester. There are buses at the end of my road direct to Manchester Airport and Buxton. PLEASE BE AWARE IF YOU ARE USED TO SLEEPING IN A KING SIZE BED… The bed is a small double and ideally suited to a single guest, however many couples have still booked with this knowledge and due to the room being considerably lower price than the other options in the area, they have really enjoyed their cosy stay.
