Camping Pod 2 on Loch Shore - Dalavich

Cosy camping pod located on the shore of Loch Awe, with stunning mountain views. A total of 6 dog friendly pods are located adjacent to lochawe in the village of Dalavich. Pod 2 has 2 single beds. The village has a shop and licensed cafe, bar (seasonal opening), kids play area, boat and bike hire. Guests should bring everything as if they were camping except the tent, microwave, fridge and kettle, there are communal public toilets with hot water and an outside tap for drinking water. The camping pods are located next to the tiny forestry village of Dalavich. In the village you will find a licensed cafe, shop and post office (seasonal opening applies). There is miles and miles of forest walks and cycle paths. Loch Awe has many wee islands to explore including Innis Chonnel, the original seat of the clan Campbell. You can hire a boat and explore the ruins of their 14th century castle. If you like to fish, Loch Awe holds many records including pike. Permit fishing only. Buy permit from Loch Awe Improvement Association. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Ideally you need a car to get here although there are two buses a day from Taynuilt where there is a train station (23 miles). Once you are here everything is on your doorstep. You can walk or cycle (bike hire available nearby) or hire a boat to explore. The pod has, 2 single beds, microwave, fridge and a kettle, guests need to bring everything they would as if they were camping. The local licensed cafe with shop and post office is open every day (high season) and has a heated outside seated area . Bike hire is available nearby. Pod no 2 is located right on the shore of the loch . There is a staircase from the car park directly to your pod (approx. 30 gentle steps). If you have mobility restrictions or prefer to be near your car we recommend you look at pod 1 or pod 6. Only one non-dangerous dog per pod allowed
