The Empty Nest comes complete with a 70 inch TV, Wifi, Blu-ray player, Apple TV and a kitchenette. You'll sleep like a baby on our luxurious king, memory foam bed and enjoy your nights out on our patio relaxing under the pergola. Great location, 6 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, Wilderness Run Winery, historical battlefield attractions. This is a great little retreat! Come and stay a while! After 7 very successful, years of hosting, our comfortably furnished one bedroom apartment has become a very popular couples getaway, home away from home for business travelers and a resting place for snowbirds as they travel north to south and back again. We’ve been privileged to host marathon athletes, wine enthusiasts, civil war buffs, on call medical professionals and so many more! Our reviews have left us in awe and so thankful at how much people enjoy staying and keep returning! Our families favorite place to vacation is the beach so we’ve created a “beach cottage” feel! Everything in the apartment from the art on the walls to the individual art pieces tell a story. I’m an interior designer and artist and I take pride in creating not just a home but an experience. Trust me when I say you will be pleasantly surprised and not want to leave! For your peace of mind we follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning practices. Guests have a separate entrance and can access the patio and fire pit in the back yard. We are always available so please feel free to call or text us at any time should you need assistance with anything. Neighborhood is very quaint, friendly and for the most part quiet. We have a very large driveway and have reserved the entire LEFT side for your parking. Please pull all of the way down as no one will block you in. Kitchenette does NOT have an oven or stovetop. We do, however, have cookware safe for microwave use, an electric skillet and a toaster oven so you can prepare easy, quick meals.
