Harrowbarrow is a quiet and friendly village less than 2 miles from the popular and historic Kit Hill Country Park well known for its majestic views, walking trails and archaeological remains. Quality Kit Hill eateries include "The Engine House" and "Louis Teas Rooms". Harrowbarrow's neighbouring village Metherell is a 15 minute walk away and is home to the popular and historic pub "The Carpenters Arms" which is praised by locals and visitors alike for its friendly atmosphere, decent pub food and real ale. Dartmoor and Bodmin moor are both only a short drive away and the Sunday School is also less than an hour from both the north and south coasts of Cornwall popular with walkers, bike riders and watersports and wildlife enthusiasts alike. St Mellion International Resort and Spa is just 3 miles away which welcomes visitors to use its spa, leisure facilities and world famous golf courses. Guests can pay to use their facilities without membership and dining is recommended at their restaurant and bar. The popular National Trust attraction of Cotehele is a few minutes down the hill as is Calstock and The Tamar Trails, and from here Morwellham Quay can be reached via will ridden and hiked woodland track. Gunnislake train station is 5 minutes drive away and the Sunday School is 20 minutes from the main two roads in and out of Cornwall the A30 and A38. The nearest city Plymouth is 30 minutes drive away. K9 companions welcome at just £15 per dog per stay!
