Secluded cottage on a working Apiary

The self catering cottage is situated in a semi rural location in around 2 acres of land. It sits next to a working Apiary so plenty of opportunity to see honeybees in action. The house has 4 bedrooms, Sitting room, Dining room, Sun room, Kitchen, Bathroom, WC and a Wet room. There is ample parking at the rear of the house, and an extensive garden around the property. The location allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds, peace and quiet or venture out to Braveheart and Outlander locations I'll try my best to meet you before you settle in for your break, if this is not possible we have a lockbox for you to let yourself in. We are situated in a secluded spot in Head of Muir, you can have the best of both worlds and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounding the cottage or venture into busier places. We are very close to Chacefield wood which is a 5 minute walk from the end of our drive, this opens up to a network of paths and cycle tracks in the Denny area. If you want to go for a country drive we again are only a few minutes from the countryside and rolling hills. Shops and takeaways are also only a few minutes away by car or a 15 minute walk. If you want to venture further afield, the house is an excellent base for visiting Falkirk and Stirling, both are a 20 minute drive. We are extremely close to the Outlander film studio and the numerous film locations in the area. We are also in the heart of Braveheart country and are more than happy to help out with places to visit. If you want something a little busier, we are an equal distance from Glasgow and Edinburgh, both are accessible with a 30 minute train journey from either Larbert or Falkirk High stations. A car is advisable to get around the area. If you don't want to drive, we are accessible to bus routes with only a few minutes walk to the bus stop. The train stations in Larbert and Falkirk High are a 20 minute drive, there is ample parking at either station. The parking cost is free at Larbert but there is a charge at Falkirk.
