This cosy studio has a functional kitchen with all needed accessories (fridge, stove, microwave and Nespresso machine), a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe, a bathroom with shower, a patio with dining table and a large garden with direct access to the lake. Also provided are a barbecue, two sun-loungers, an outdoor shower, a paddle board and a beautiful outdoor futon to enjoy romantic moments. The property also includes a private parking space. With its characteristic small alleys, the arcades of old patrician homes, valuable architectural monuments and its natural beauty, Morcote is considered “the Pearl of Ceresio”. Of particular architectural interest, is the church of Santa Maria del Sasso, the terraced cemetery, the Tower of the Captain and the beautiful Scherrer gardens. The beautiful town centre and its port are just a 10 minutes walk away from the house. The mini market and typical local restaurants such as the Ristorante Posta are also located in the town centre. Not far away, Carona offers an Olympic size swimming pool with a 10 metres diving platform, embedded in a exceptional botanical garden. Alternatively you can head to Melide to visit the Swissminiatur; an open-air miniature park located on the shore of Lake Lugano, where more than 120 models at scale 1:25 representing the most important buildings, monuments and transportation means in Switzerland are displayed. We recommend driving to the property as we have a private parking space Alternatively you can get the 431 bus towards Bissone from Paradiso train station and get off at Morcote Burò. From there it's a 1 minute walk to the house. Please note that there are stairs to be climbed up to the property.
