Peacock Barn is a 3,500 sq ft luxury residence with four large dedicated bedrooms and additional office/ break out space with a double sofa bed should guests require another bedroom. The property was designed and renovated by Nina & Toby in 2016, transforming period out buildings into a large stunning guest house . The dwelling is the marriage of rustic charm and modern luxury that combine to create a light and bohemian feel that those in the creative industries have found totally inspiring! Peacock Barn is nestled within 20 acres of private grounds and is surrounded by beautiful open countryside with enchanting lanes and footpaths to walk along. The Barn forms part of the Dials Green Farm Estate. The property has its own separate driveway and access, and enjoys total privacy from the main house approx 25m away. Toby & Nina run a small active animal rescue sanctuary, rehabilitating mistreated and abandoned animals so that they can enjoy a safe and happy existence on the farm whilst also offering therapy for various youth charities on a voluntary basis. Should you wish to meet the animals during your stay we would be more than happy to give you a tour! Private celebrations are welcomed with prior notice. Whole house including front a rear gardens. We kindly ask that you do not approach the animals/ the yard without having arranged with the host in advance. Lots of parking. Lottisham is a rural hamlet in Somerset’s sprawling countryside approximately 10 minutes away (by car) to the iconic town of Glastonbury. A 15 min car journey to Castle Cary station with direct line to London (1hr 45 mins). A 20 min car journey to Bruton, which houses the new Hauser and Wirth gallery plus a multitude of gorgeous restaurants! A 20 min car journey The Newt , the brand new iconic place to be in Somerset at the moment! The beautiful city of Wells just 25 mins away, and the city of Bath 45 mins. Travelling by car is the most efficient way to explore Somerset. We have connections with several local trusted taxi providers. As situated on a rescue farm, some animal noises etc to be expected.
