This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring The property has a large bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette with kettle, toaster and microwave. We supply tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cereal and also run an "honour bar" with beer, wine, bottled still & sparkling water and sodas. The POD is A1+ rated, so super cosy, with the added advantage of a constant supply of fresh sea air via the POD ventilation system and all the energy used by the POD is supplied by Electric Ireland 100% Green electric plan. We don't compromise on your comfort so during your stay you'll be sleeping on the, Irish Made, amazing EMMA-MATTRESS which we think you'll find sooooo comfortable. All our soft furnishing are also Irish Made and sourced locally from Granny's Bottom Drawer, a unique shop in the heart of Kinsale and definitely worth a visit during your stay. You enter the property via the garden entrance at the side of the main house and walk up the outside stairs to access the POD. Parking is off site and communal. If you're in Kinsale for a night or more, it's the place to base yourself. Electric bikes are on an external rental, and can be in place at the POD for your arrival once ordered in advance via Wild Atlantic Sports. Electric bikes are a wonderful way to go exploring this fabulous area of Ireland. Please note that a lot of our guest say "I just wish we'd booked to stay longer" so please bear this in mind when booking your stay, as Kinsale needs to be savoured and not rushed. You have the whole POD to yourself and access to the garden and parking I live in the main house beside the property Summercove is the most fantastic place to visit, it has the best pub in Kinsale, the Bulman, where you can have an amazing lunch or dinner and watch the sun set over Kinsale after a day working, exploring or just relaxing. You can drive 5 mins into town but we always recommend, parking up and cycling, walking or getting a taxi as Kinsale town can be busy during high season. You can book an electric bike with Wild Atlantic Sports and your bikes will be waiting for you on arrival
