Big house & lovely view

One half of a double-house, renovated, 4 big bright rooms, balcony, garden, barbecue, quiet neighborhood, parking The reconstruction is going on... our new kitchen and bathrooms will be hopefully ready til dicembre 2020!! The house was built in the 1960s by Petra's grandfather. After grandmother's death in 2013 we started the reconstruction. The area is very quiet and from the bedrooms you have a stunning view. Nevertheless the big city (Vienna) is close. Parts of the garden, no entrance to the cellar and attic We are living next door and we'll be happy to answer all your questions and give you suggestions for trips in the region and city of Vienna. Our neighborhood is very international (German, Slovac, French, Turkish, Greek). Park&Ride Hütteldorf: 15min by car, Metro U4 Busstop to Vienna: 5min walk (25min ride to Wien Hütteldorf, U4) Trainstation to Vienna: 5min by car (25min ride to Wien Westbahnhof, U3) The best way to get to the center of Vienna is to take the car until the train station “Purkersdorf Sanatorium”. Then take the train (S50) til “Wien Westbahnhof” (last stop). Wien Westbahnhof is one of the big train stations in Vienna and has been restructured shortly. From there you can catch the metro (U3, orange) and get in few minutes to St. Stephan’s Cathedral, Hofburg,… and most of the other important sights. The Westbahnhof has also become a big shopping center with lots of stores. Supermarkets there might be open even on Sundays! Whole Vienna including Purkersdorf Sanatorium belongs to one ticket-zone which is called “Zone 100”. A single trip costs about 2,20 Euro. If you travel all day its convenient to buy the “8-day-ticket” which can be used by more people too. Per person/per day you have to obliterate one stripe of the ticket. Then you can travel within the Zone 100 all day. Keep the ticket because you might have to show it in case of control-check-points… There is 70-liter-hotwater-boiler, when it's empty you have to wait a little bit for more warm water.
