Family country house, in a quiet hamlet crossed by the river and surrounded by forests. Several lakes nearby. Ideal for family holidays and outdoor recreation (hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, etc.). Ideal also for a group looking for a place of work (musicians, yoga, etc.). The house is 7km from Quarré-les-Tombes, a charming little village. This is our family country house bought by our grandparents in the 1960s. We are very attached to it and thank you for respecting it. Access to the first floor and to bedrooms n ° 3 and n ° 4 is through the garage. For this you must either go through room n ° 2 or go through the courtyard. Sheets and dish towels are provided and included in the cleaning costs. You must bring towels. You can bring your own sheets if you wish, just indicate this when booking which will then be reduced by 10 euros. The house is an old building built on two floors. The ground floor includes the living room with open fire, the kitchen, the bathroom (bath / shower and WC), the veranda and two bedrooms (bedrooms n ° 1 and n ° 2). The completely renovated first floor includes a large room ideal for working, a bathroom with shower, a toilet and two bedrooms (n ° 3 and n ° 4). The boiler room is located next to bedroom # 2, so don't be surprised to hear the boiler come on if you sleep in this bedroom. Bicycles and toys in the garage are at your disposal. For 1 to 4 people, you will occupy only the ground floor (rooms 1 and 2).   From 5 people, please specify when booking the number of rooms required. Thank you to use as much as possible the ground floor (rooms 1 and 2). From 7 people, the floor is automatically open. You will be greeted by the neighbor, Mr. Erpici (at No. 12), who can answer your practical questions about the house during the stay. I will be reachable by mail and phone for any other question. Les Iles Ménefrier is located in the Morvan Regional Nature Park. The hamlet of a dozen houses is surrounded by forests and crossed by the Cure, beautiful river to fish and cool off. The hiking trail GR 13 also crosses the hamlet. Many lakes are nearby (Saint Agnan, Crescent, Setton). A 7 km is Quarré-les-Tombes, charming village with all the useful shops (grocery stores, butchers, bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, ...). The nearest town is Avallon, 26 km (1 / 2h by car). To access the first floor, you have to cross the garage. And for that, you have to either cross a room (room 2), or go through the courtyard.
