Yellow Springs Tiny House
The Yellow Springs Tiny House is a super insulated 400 square foot energy efficient home, partially powered by solar panels. You have all the amenities of a home including laundry, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, loft area, cathedral ceilings, high speed internet with smart TV (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, YoutubeTV, Disney+). It is all new, opened in June 2018. Just a few blocks from downtown, bikeway, Yellow Springs Brewery, Mills Park Hotel, Little Art Theater, and more. Although called a tiny house, it is large. Tiny houses are up to 400 square feet and that is what this house offers. Additionally there is a 200 square foot loft. It is really equivalent to a large hotel suite with private bedroom (queen size bed), living area with ultra hd television, kitchen with two burner stove, and a convection oven, plus microwave and toaster. Fresh coffee beans are provided with a coffee grinder. Full sized refrigerator with complementary soft drinks and bubbly water. There is a one time $25 cleaning fee. We are committed to paying a livable wage. There are two private parking spaces in front of the house. Alternatively, guests may sleep on an inflated queen mattress in the loft upon request. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Don't hesitate to text or call if anything comes up. Yellow Springs is often listed as one of the best small towns in Ohio with many activities, festivals, music venues and places to eat. Young's Dairy is just outside of town, with famous home-made ice cream, a golf driving range, batting cages, miniature golf, and two restaurants. Excellent hiking in Glen Helen (currently closed), John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge. Little Miami Bike trail extends southward 65 miles. to Cincinnati and northward 25 miles to Urbana. Walking to town is best, but you can find parking downtown. Please do not use the church parking lot. We have two paved spaces in front of the house.
