Dog Friendly home Situated in the picturesque Brisbane Valley (approx !00Kms North/West of Brisbane city) ESK is a Old timber town nestled between Wivenhoe and Somerset dams featuring swimming , fishing, water skiing, canoeing, picnicking, walking &cycling tracks on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Our Cottage is located on 10ac only 1 Klm from town. Walk to cafes and restaurants and local hotels (both retro and Modern) , hire a pushbike, any level catered for, or browse antique shops Dog Friendly Home plus for the Humans we provide The King Size Bed that can be converted to 2 x king single beds if required (must be requested when booking or additional charges apply) and a queen sized bed . Just enjoy the escape time to laze around in the winter sun , or shady summer area on the rear deck. There's an outside fire pit (all firewood provided) to enjoy, or an inside combustion heater if thats your preference, as well as reverse cycle a/c if you choose. A large leather lounge suite with electric recliners awaits to relax on after a days activities , and the flat screen tv . Outside , the property has been utilised as a hay growing and cattle grazing farmlet for about 60 years, the cottage has recently been renovated including fully tiled flooring throughout , modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave , wood heater , air conditioning , NBN Internet , full mobile phone signal from all major providers . Depending on the disability this cottage is on one level and open plan, the toilet has a hand rail, however, the shower has a lip and glass opening door. There is a dog friendly front yard for exercise and toilet breaks. Currently a group of about a dozen eastern grey kangaroos is living in one of our gullies and koalas and possums and bottangs have been seen from time to time. Our Horses reside at the property and are friendly, we do ask you not to feed them as they are very aged and on a special diet! Front yard fully meshed for Dogs the rear under cover entertaining area that includes seating and comfortable lazy recliners also a BBQ Our home is approximately 15 minutes away and we are available at very short notice if required Fabulous cafes for early birds or those who prefer a long brunch Pipeliner Park - beautifully maintained area with circuit exercise equipment installed, centrally located, 10 minutes walk from cottage Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Access , bike rental and pick up drop off if required Antique and old wares stores throughout Esk and surrounding towns Classic old CLUB Hotel , Western end of town , just like the old days GRAND Hotel , Centre of town, modern facilities and kitchen IGA Style food store for all provisions Chemist , Vets , Doctors, Dentist, Hospital , Restaurants, Takeaway food and many coffee houses Public transport - not many options here , there is a pick-up and drop off service to Brisbane a/port , bookings essential. Morning and afternoon bus service to Ipswich (our nearest Major City) provided weekdays only.
