Bend O' The River B&B, Suite B

Unvaccinated are required to wear a mask indoors in public areas. No pets. Owner is allergic to pet dander. This is a private room and bath UPSTAIRS in our two story B&B home. King bed, private tub/shower bath, large windows with a great view. Small guest fridge, microwave and Keurig on landing/loft to be shared with the other two rooms. Outdoor patios/porch are available to guests. Breakfast is continental, pastry, fruit, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. No pets. Owner is allergic to pet dander. Quiet, private bedroom and bath, very comfortable. Loft outside the room is shared with 2 other rooms. Small fridge, Keurig, and microwave on the loft. Two additional rooms are available, Suite A and Suite C. Suite A has same description as Suite B. Suite C has a sitting area, TV, soaking tub and walk in shower. It is $25/night more. Shared landing/loft/small fridge, Keurig and an assortment of coffee/tea/soft drinks available. If you are unvaccinated please wear a mask when in shared areas. Two patios outside, one with a fire pit. You are welcome to have a fire but due to the cost and owners age, you need to supply your own wood. We provide fire starting equipment. This room is in our home and we are always here when guests are present. Our B&B is on 2 acres, no close neighbors. Utopia is 3 mi. south and has a small grocery store, PO, library, hardware store, cafe, coffee shop, antique store, and boutique. To visit Lost Maples State Natural Area or Garner State Park you will need a reservation. Summer at Garner and Fall at Lost Maples is very hard to get into so book early. We have a fire pit which you are welcome to use. I am no longer able to cart a bundle of wood around so you have to get your own. We have fire starting equipment for you to use. The general store in Utopia sells bundles for about $10. No public transit. You will need a car. It's VERY dark at night. Landmarks are hard to see and deer along the road, common. It's best to arrive in daylight. GPS often sends guests south of Utopia but we are 3 miles NORTH of Utopia on FM 187 as you go toward Vanderpool/Lost Maples State Natural Area. AT&T is the only phone service. There's a red and white sign for our B&B near the road. Turn on River Haven Rd. and park in the large drive way. Enter through the front door. Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park are close. You should call for a reservation at both parks. Traffic to the parks has been heavy since March 2020. AT&T is the only phone service. No pets. Owner has allergies to pet dander. NO SMOKING OR FIREARMS INDOORS. If you bring a cooler please leave on the porch or in your vehicle.
