The Dartmoor Nook
No 3 Earls Court part of a development of three houses finished last year. This warm and cosy home is on the edge of an ancient market town of Moretonhampstead which has all the shops and pubs you will need for a relaxing break in the stunning Dartmoor National Park! Come and enjoy a moor and beach break with beaches less than an hour away! You enter into the hall and there is the door to the kitchen/dining room to the right and a door to the sitting room to the left. There is a door to the down stairs toilet. Upstairs there is a twin room with two single beds and another large bedroom with a new super king size bed. There is a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. It’s a lovely warm and light house with sofas and a large TV with Netflix. There is compact garden a patio with table for outdoor dining with steps down to the three person hot tub and lawn You have your own parking space outside the house and your own front door at the side of the property. There is a path around the house to the back garden and double doors in the kitchen that open into the back garden. We are onsite and also on the end of a phone if you should need anything. We check and add treatment to the hot tub each morning. Should you need us please ask. Moretonhampstead is a interesting town with lots of interesting buildings. Our information centre has lots to share including an interesting town trail. There are several places to eat. Berto’s a authentic cosy Italian restaurant, The Horse and The Union are two pubs that serve food and The White Hart a hotel that has a restaurant with a tasty menu all of which are providing a takeaway service as well as serving food. There are three cafes which serve tea. The library is open three times a week on Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning. The Art gallery ‘Greenhill’ is a lovely place to visit. St Andrews church is a beautiful building to view with a lovely wooden ceiling. There is a local butcher, greengrocer and zero waste shop. They will all help to make your stay a tasty one! In the village everything is within walking distance. If you don’t have a car then there are several buses to Exeter and Newton Abbot. We are a two minute walk from the village and there are several pubs and places to eat. It’s a really friendly village and has two parks for children and lots of footpaths for dog walks. If you want any information about the local area feel free to ask. We do accept 1 well behaved dog but we do ask they stay downstairs.
