18 foot yurt for 6 placed in front of the rural view of Alfreds Tower on my lil campsite. Rest around the log burner, looking at the view or just enjoy a circular existence. Compost toilets and an outdoor shower close by from Easter until then there is a heated shower block close by. A kettle, tea and coffee facilities, cutlery, plates, mugs and bowls are inside yurt. A firepit outside as well as the log burner inside. A great view in rural somerset. In the middle of nowhere but a short drive to anywhere. Fire pits, clean skies, spacious and airy The shower block is a shared space. free hot showers and toilets in our heated shower block. (2 in both the ladies and the gents) Our amazing Outdoor showers and new compost toilets will be opening around the site by Easter. Text is king........ but I or someone from my wonderful sunnyhill team are ALWAYS available and on site We are in the middle of no where but not far from anywhere. 1/2 way between London and Exeter, we are often used as a base for people to go to Bristol, Bath, Longleat, Salisbury, Stone henge, Dorchester, Glastonbury, Wincanton, Sherborne, Bournemouth, Yeovil, Sparkford, Jurassic coast, Taunton, Gillingham, Shaftebury and much more. Or just come and enjoy rural life in a amazing setting. We are a campsite in a rural setting overlooking beautiful rural views. There isn t public transport here. Escorted walks can be arranged from site and I can help you with taxis and maps so you can explore locally. The Unicorn pub our closest pub , just a easy (15min) walk across the fields. ( once you are up the hill) There are lovely local shops in wincanton 1.8 miles away and a small co-op for essentials. There are lots of take aways in town who will deliver and, several local pubs, many offering take away food. Our a visiting catering wagon will return in peak season. 2022 will see us continuing with music sessions on saturday nights, peak season 8-10pm. Plus some amazing impromptu local musician visiting occasionally. We are a friendly bohemian old fashioned campsite. We offer a basic peaceful resting place, we are not butlins or a hotel and we endeavour to make all guests welcome. However You are asked to be sensible with animals and children around them. Please do not feed the animals ( they are fat enough!) as we monitor their diet. Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated. please remember you are on farm land so be mindful of rubbish recycling etc. Acoustic gentle music maybe played on saturday nights for peak season.
