Wivenhoe Private Annexe - Quiet Village Location

Wivenhoe, a village on the River Colne just outside Colchester (Britain's oldest recorded town with its castle) has a delightful quay and eating establishments, including vegan, tapas, Indian and Italian. There are regular buses to Colchester via Essex University so the property is ideal for anyone visiting the campus where you can also find Wivenhoe House Hotel. We are also only 5 minute drive away from the famous Beth Chatto gardens. The annexe is completely self-contained and not overlooked and has been used in the past by my sons and their respective wives as a starter home including kitchen and bathroom until they could afford to move out. It has now been fully redecorated and has accommodation for a single person or couple and also has space for a travel cot and/or inflatable toddler bed. (both available on request). Guests will be given a key to access a separate entrance at the rear of the house and will be able to use the whole annexe. Wivenhoe station is on the main line to Colchester and then on to London or in the opposite direction to Clacton-on-sea and is about 15 minutes walk from my property. There is a good bus service with bus stop just round the corner There is space for off-road parking of a family saloon size vehicle.
