A perfect retreat where parents and kids can be together (...or find some time apart). Well thought out details give the house a genuine warmth. Fully stocked modern kitchen with stone bench tops, generous oven/stove, double fridge, pantry, dishwasher and all the essentials make you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The kitchen also leads to a generous entertaining deck where a 7mt awning extends toward the pool creating an inside/outside living area - great for BBQ's or summer alfresco dining. Games room has plenty of entertainment with board games, netflix and classic pool table. On the lower level the kitchen extends into another living area with, TV, stereo, dining room and fireplace for those cold Winter nights. These generous living spaces overlook the gorgeous outlook of the lake. Lots of action with black swans, pelicans and heaps of life. On windy days the lake fills with sailboats, windsurfers and kite boards. Relaxing on the deck with a drink in hand you get the sense of being on a luxury vessel (perhaps cruising through the central coast of Australia) It is hard not to appreciate the true beauty of this part of the world... how's the serenity! Note bed and bedroom set up: 1 *Lake View Room - King overlooking lake - upstairs 2 *Master Lake View Room - 2 x King Singles overlooking lake (can be made up as King) - upstairs 3 *Pool View Room - King overlooking pool and lake – ground floor 4 *Garden View Room - Queen overlooking garden – ground floor 5 *Queen & Bunk Room - Double and 2 sets of bunks – ground floor Also included: * All linens including bath towels, sheets, tea towels, TP, paper towels, * Kitchen essentials (to get you started) such as: salt/pepper, olive oil, black tea, herbal tea, sugar, tomato sauce, mustards, vinegar, seasonings, milk, and more. * There are platters for serving, mixing bowls, sandwich/panini press, stick blender, toaster, kettle, plunger, stove top percolator, colander, bbq utensils, steak knives, chopping knives, wine opener, bottle opener, grater, measuring cups, water pitcher. * Pots, pans, cooking and baking trays... all the essentials you would reasonably expect in a modern kitchen are available * Play your own music in the living area through Apple TV. * Highchair available if needed. * the 0.5 bathroom is actually a full 3rd bathroom with hot shower - however it is located outside so can be used when coming back from the beach so as not to put sand all through the house The house is 20 mins to M1, and an easy 90 minute drive from Sydney. There is also easy access via train (Warnerville station). **Please NOTE: The MAXIMUM occupancy is 14 people including children (infants excepted). We do not allow couch sleeping under any circumstances, including children. We recommend no more than 10 adults staying in the house unless there are special circumstances where you have discussed with your host. **ONLY the guests named in your booking will be PERMITTED on PREMISE during your stay (any potential exception must be specifically pre-approved). We’re not the right choice if you’re looking to pack ‘em in, and our tolerance is literally zero. Between CCTV outdoors & our neighbours who are our mates, we’ll know immediately of abuse and your stay will be terminated without refund. No questions. **Our guests have exclusive and full use of the main house, deck, pool, garden etc however we will not hesitate to personally end any party, excessive noise, any unregistered guests, etc…by respectfully ending your stay. ** Smoking is to be OUTSIDE ONLY. We also have a caretaker living 5 mins away that is able to resolve any urgent issues. Toukley has great coffee, cafes, markets, shopping...and within 10mins the surrounding areas have everything you could possibly want. It has a wonderful laid back feel to it ... we're super close to renown surf breaks, beaches, and so close to The Entrance, Terrigal, Avoca - yet without the 'hustle and bustle'. And plenty of inland water on Tuggerah Lakes for endless water sports such as kayaking,fishing/prawning/crabbing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing and more. Some highlights: - the house is a 5 min easy level walk to Toukley village, including pharmacy, bottle shop, cafes and eateries as well as a large Coles... or you can skip the village and go straight to Canton beach with kids park and local cafe. - There is a significant shopping centre 10 mins drive away at Lake Haven. - Within 10 Minutes drive there are multiple beaches (some of our favourites are Soldier's Point, and the rockpool at pebbles beach). Getting around Everything you need is easily accessible. Coles and Toukley village shopping centre is less than 500 meters away, an easy 5 minute level walk. Cafes and good coffee just as close. Pharmacy, butchers, bakeries...you name it - easy. Even more within 10 minute drive, including surf breaks and ocean beaches, 3 golf courses, restaurants, shopping centre (local boutiques, and also 'big' retailers such as Kmart, Bunnings, JB HiFi, etc plus grocery options of Coles, Aldi, & Woolies) Parties or events not allowed.
