Modern farm house in the countryside 15 minutes drive West of Christchurch Airport. Private entrance. Unlimited Wifi. Enjoy a rural outlook and quiet location. Double en suite room; private lounge with instant gas fire; fully equipped kitchenette; sheltered verandah & sweeping rural views. Local shops & cafes 4km drive. The suite is fully self contained & connected to the main homestead. It is also completely private and has a separate entrance. Planned for those with physical challenges. Self-contained ensuite bedroom, which is clean, modern and comfortable. Kitchenette (including a refrigerator) with facilities to prepare basic meals. Separate lounge with instant gas fire. Guests have their own entrance independent of the rest of the house. We like to greet guests personally, but they can self check in if we are unavailable. Washing machine and drier available on request at no extra cost. As we live in the other part of the home we are available as required. There maybe opportunities to interact with the animals if you wish. Just let us know. Rural farm setting, 5 minutes drive to local shopping centre with two restaurants, cafe, pharmacy and supermarket. There are wineries providing meals nearby including Langdales and Melton Estate. Located an hour’s drive to the nearest ski field - Porter Heights, and an hour and a half to Mount Hutt. Ten minutes drive to McLeans Island recreational area. The home is situated well off the road and gives a quiet and peaceful country farm feeling while being only a short drive to Christchurch city. We are 15-20 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport. Parking is no problem - space for campervan. We live on a small working farm with sheep, cattle and horses. The animals are used to people and you may like to help with feeding lambs in the springtime. You are welcome to explore our surroundings, but please ask before approaching the animals. If you are travelling with horses, we can provide float or truck parking and safe and sheltered paddocks near the house.
