Hawley Beach House

We have extensively renovated our house over the last couple of years. It's within a 300m stroll to the sparkling Hawley beaches with extensive views to the Rubicon estuary; a 20 minutes drive from Devonport, just over an hour from Launceston and a 5 minute drive to cafes and supermarkets. The sunny, spacious upper storey of the house has two bedrooms, a full sized kitchen, bathroom, spacious sun/ dining space, lounge area, a wrap around deck for all day sun and an undercover lower deck. If you are requiring one bedroom, we will allocate you the master/ queen bedroom and the areas on the upstairs floor, based on a booking for a minimum of two people. Should you require two queen bedrooms, you will need to book for four people . We will allocate the two upstairs bedrooms and you will have access to the entire upper floor. Your booking will give you exclusive use of the facilities, ie no other guests will be on site during the time of your reservation. If booking one bedroom, please book for the minimum of two people. Should you require two bedrooms, you will need to book for four people. Self checkin using a key safe. The code will be texted on the day of your arrival. We are only a 300 metre walk from Little Hawley Beach, which is a gentle walk down our street. Other beaches can also be reached along the Esplanade or one of the walkways. All beaches are popular for swimming and other water sports. The Port Sorell Surf Lifesaving Club has its clubhouse and regular patrols during summer at the Shearwater Beach. BBQ facilities are provided along the Esplanade foreshore; the closest being at the eastern (sea) end of Taroona Street. The Devonport Airport with Qantaslink services to/ from Melbourne is 10 minutes away while the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal is a 20 minute drive. Hawley Beach and neighbouring areas have many bike and walking paths making beaches, shops and exploring a leisurely experience. Public transport by bus links this area to Devonport.
