Located in the picturesque Hunter Valley, Heddon Greta is the perfect country town for that relaxing getaway for families, couples, or singles to explore the region. Boasting a swimming pool & fireplace for entertainment all year round, the best part is you are 20m from Pokolbin, 35m from Newcastle beaches, & across the road from concert pick up. Need more, Kurri Golf Club is on our doorstop. 'Champagne by the pool' is great for families or groups in any season. Book for a long weekend or stay when booking tickets to see your favourite artists in the Hunter Valley. Rover coaches provides return shuttle service to concert venues. Pick up for concerts is 200m from the property. Cool off in the swimming pool or if you don't want to get your hair wet, relax poolside with refreshments. Remember to bring your pool towels and floaties for the kids! For those with young children, the property has a portacot for your use, though you will need to bring your own bedding items and some games for the kids to play... Or maybe the adults would like to sit around the dining room table and partake in a game. Bring the cricket gear and feel like part of the Aussie summer or a footy for a quick game of soccer or footy tag. Need to get out of the house? There are a plethora of entertainment options around, all within a 20 min drive of the house: Wineries, Hunter Valley Gardens, Hunter Valley Zoo, Aqua Golf, Horse Riding to name a few. Newcastle beach, known for being one of the best surfing locations is an easy 35min drive away if you need a slight change of scenery & wanting to catch some waves. This single-story property is fully furnished and has all the modern conveniences and luxuries you need to fully enjoy your stay. With an open plan living area, three generous bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, and views over the backyard and pool, you cannot help but unwind and relax in the space. - 3 BEDROOM HOUSE – (all with storage) open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Outdoor table and full family bathroom. - Smart TV with free Wi-Fi. - Main bathroom with Shower and vanity, with separate toilet. - Ensuite with bath, open shower, vanity and toilet. - Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. - Laundry just off the kitchen with washing machine, dryer and clothesline in rear garden. - Split system Air-conditioning in the lounge area and portable AC in the back room. - Outdoor entertaining area to enjoy the afternoon or watch the kids in the pool. There is a garage on the property, however that is not accessible to guests. There is however ample parking in the driveway on out the front of the property. For those with pets; you will find a covered area being the garage for them. Don't forget to bring your furry family members items along for their stay too. As 'Champagne by the pool' is in a residential area, we have a strict 'No parties or Events' policy and ask that all guests respect the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, particularly at night. We give our guest the space and privacy they are looking for, yet are available if any assistance is required. The property is located in a small community where there is peace and quiet. Listen to the birds, look for kangaroos and relax. The famous Heddon Greta Drive In is located up the road which provides great entertainment for the whole family. The best way to get around is by car. There is public transport available nearby (Bus stops on main road). Rover coaches picks up across the road (opposite Heddon Greta Hotel) for concerts. - Self check in is provided for your own privacy. - Kitchen contains basic items for guests (tea, coffee, cling wrap etc). Milk is not supplied as everyone's preferences these days is different. There are shops close by for you to be able to purchase items from. - Wall AC in back bedroom does not work. Portable AC has been provided for Guests use. Please remove window attachment when departing. - For those of you with pets, please note the neighbouring houses also have dogs who can be a bit vocal when they first sense a 'new dog' on the block. - The properties fireplace is there for you to use. Whilst at times there is wood left behind by guests for your use, if you would like to use it, you will need to bring your own wood and starters. - Large swimming Pool maintained by professionals. However pool scoop available to remove debris from pool during your stay, plus pool cover. - No pool/beach towels are supplied. You will need to bring your own.
