The single bedroom is comfortable with views through the window to the front garden with tree tops. Very spacious country style garden with waterlily ponds and fish, fruit trees and gum trees. The house has resident indoor tortoiseshell (2), 1 white and 2 black/white cats: The cats have run of the house except the guest room and have their own outdoor enclosed area. One partly blind cat uses the back design studio. Guests have access to common areas only. A lovely quiet hills environment great for walks in Belair National Park, playing tennis in the park, eating out at the local gourmet style restaurant within walking distance. The train station is a 20 minute walk and great to catch to the city for shopping, sporting events and the SA Adelaide Festival Theatre for dance and other performances, avoiding parking your car! One outdoor shaded deck area covered in passionfruit vine you can share with the resident cats if you wish. The main deck has a new outdoor blind against the elements to enjoy the outdoors for casual dining and still see the lovely views. The laundry with drying space outside as needed( available on request for a fee). The kitchen access for making tea/coffee 24/7 and self serve continental breakfast provisions. Can provide transport to local train station if available. Opposite the Belair national park great walks,and place for picnics. The area is typical Adelaide hills with lots of large impressive gum trees occasionally frequented by the local koalas and many bird species. Train or bus service 2o minute pleasant walk. Parking available if needed at the Belair train station. A short train trip to Blackwood Station from Belair the bus terminal can catch the bus to the Marion shopping centre with movie theatres, shops and cafes Guests can be dropped off at nearby Belair Railway station if hostess is available. The Tour Down Under a short drive from the house to Stirling The owner has a boutique in Stirling so can drop someone off there for this event as the cyclists come through Stirling January 2020 March 2020 events include Womad, The South Australian Arts Festival and Clipsal 500.
