This 3 bedroom space on 10 acres is perfect for any Michigan getaway. Located 4 miles southwest of Harrison on a paved road and 3 miles from US 127, this is the perfect home base for your adventure. 20 lakes are all within a 20 minute drive and a few of the best being less than 10 minutes away. The Leota trail head is 12 miles away and Rocks and Valleys off road park and Snow Snake Ski and Golf Course is right around the corner. Wood is provided so you can end your days around the fire pit. Welcome! Peace and quiet is easy to come by here and space is no issue. This 1600sq/ft home can easily sleep 10 yet is set up efficiently enough for a quick night’s rest when passing through. (Message us, we discount for one bed/one night stays) We aim to provide a place that feels like home away from home. Make breakfast for everyone in the full kitchen or take a walk out back to see the view. The property is less than three minutes from US 127 making this the perfect point to rest when heading north. The home had a complete makeover in 2018 and we are constantly making improvements to the home and property. Income isn’t the goal here. We share your passion for travel and strive to provide a space where you can slow down, relax, and make memories. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The home sits on a 10 acre parcel located directly in one of Harrison's oldest Farming areas on Harrison Avenue. The property was originally used as additional space to board horses and livestock for the local farmers. The Barn that stands on the property was built in 1963. Nearby neighbors have all told me stories about helping with the construction as young boys. The original house that stood on the property was lost to a fire in 1979 and the property sat vacant until 1984, the year the current home was put in. Pieces of the original foundation are still piled in spots in the back field. The original outhouse is still (somewhat) attached to the barn’s North side. We are currently in the process of renovating the barn. We are planning to have the barn open for parties and events by mid spring/early summer. At this time the inside of the barn is off limits, but we hope to change that soon. The back porch with swing overlooks a 10 acre field with rolling hills. We provide a charcoal BBQ grill for you to use, however, you will have to provide your own Charcoal. The entire property is yours to explore. The property backs up to a wooded tree line covered in rocks collected from the last 100+ years of farming. Exploration of the property and rock line are encouraged, just watch for bees! We are nearby and ready if needed; however, our goal is to provide a space that feels like your own when you arrive. The space is very private without neighbors or distractions and check in and out is simple. Snow Snake Ski and Golf, Rocks and Valley’s The barn IS NOT included when renting the space!
