The mediaeval town of St Antonin Noble Val is 10 minutes away by car, with its famous Sunday market, restaurants and shops. The gîte is on the edge of a pretty hamlet, with views of fields and trees and a large garden. It is three kilometres from the beautiful River Aveyron, and five kilometres from the villages of Penne (with its spectacular castle and two restaurants) and Vaour (with its Knights Templar fortress and a weekly market). Both have small supermarkets, and the mediaeval town of St Antonin Noble Val, with its restaurants, shops and supermarkets, is only 11 kilometres away. The many quiet local roads are ideal for exploring the area on foot, by bike or by car. Bikes, with or without electric assistance, can be hired in St Antonin Noble Val.
