Wonga Beach is a quiet area a short drive north of Port Douglas, and easily accessed by car hire from Cairns Airport. Local attractions include Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Daintree and Cape Tribulation. A beautiful absolute beachfront spot where you can enjoy peace and quiet in comfort and beautiful walks along Wonga Beach, inside the Great Barrier Reef. Lots of things to do, or do nothing! Entire house and pool all to yourself! House is managed by local house keeping. Convenient supermarket and bottleshops enroute at Mossman. Cafes available in Mossman and lots of restaurants and retail therapy plus tourism tours (including to Great Barrier Reef) available in Port Douglas. Full guest manual available to guests with recommendations and lots of tips. Most guests arrive by flying into Cairns airport and hire a car. Wonga Beach is a casual 1.25 hours drive north from Cairns. On your way it is worth a coffee stop at Ellis Beach, and take in the spectacular views at Rex Lookout. Continue past the turnoff to Port Douglas (you will come past again). Stop at Mossman where there is a large modern Woolworths supermarket to purchase some provisions and fresh groceries on the way, and a Bottle’O bottle shop next door. Wonga Beach is a short 10 mins drive north of Mossman. Provisioning is best undertaken at Woolworths at Mossman on your drive from Cairns. Please use bath mats provided in bathrooms to avoid risk of slipping on wet floors.
