Enjoy a bayside break at Newport...explore the fabulous Moreton Bay region. Enjoy a warm friendly welcome from hosts Diane and Peter Burke. Relax in our new home and enjoy breakfast in the morning. There are canal walks and a local cafe 5 minutes away from our house. The seaside suburbs of Margate, Redcliffe and Scarborough are only a few minutes drive away. A visit to the 'Bee Gees Way' in Redcliffe is not to be missed. Transport to and from the airport when possible (extra charge). My place is great for couples or single travellers, whether you need peace and quiet or company...the choice is yours. We welcome guests from all backgrounds. Guests have access to their bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Breakfast is served in the dining room. The guests can watch TV with us in the evening if desired. I am usually home during the day and can help guests with local knowledge of things to do or places to visit. We live on a new estate at Newport. It is a lovely area for walks by the canals and marina and a few minutes drive from picturesque local beaches. There are bus stops nearby for buses to Kippa-Ring, Scarborough, Redcliffe, Margate, Clontarf and North Lakes. We are 5 minutes drive from Kippa-Ring train station. We have a friendly cat.
