Experience living in a Jungle, well away from the hustle and bustle form the city and towns. 20 min away from Bentota beach, its the perfect balance between nature and comfort. This is an ideal place for adventure seeking travelers to live a in a working farm see wild Birds,monkeys,even in the comfort of your bedroom. On our 2,5 acre organic cinnamon farm, we also follow the permaculture principles, with many fruit,nut,spice trees and vegetables, to be a model garden in Sri Lanka. You will have your own private room on the first floor. The Double bed is covered with a mosquito net. Anuura's Eco stay consist of 3 bedrooms each to be rented out separately, a ground floor which is mainly used by the farm workers and the upper floor with an open kitchen and big living lounge overlooking paddy fields and the villages own small adamspeak. It is also suitable for all guests interested in doing Yoga. And not to forget, this is one of the best places for the enthusiastic bird watchers and you can see nearly 30 varieties of birds in the land itself. The guests could take a boat ride on the river, watch crocodiles and snakes in their natural habitat, fishing, working in the vegetable fields, eating freshly prepared village food or even taking part in cooking are the experiences one could get here. You will share the kitchen, the bathroom and the open living space with other guests. We the owner won't be there all times but we will come everyday,to do work on the farm. So we will be available for any type of questions and to give you advice of what to do in the beautiful rural area around! Every Saturday between 7 and 11 am is the local market walking distance away to buy fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, spices and household items. A 8min walk away is a Restaurant & Bar, the beautiful Bentota River, bird watching areas, walking trails and friendly locals. The bus hold is a 2 min walk from the house. Going every 40 min to the next town.
