Downtown Monte Vista Hideaway

Our little piece of old historic Monte Vista sits almost center of town. Built in 1886, it has thick walls that surround you in hushed silence. Quiant, 2 bedrooms separated by a double drop cloth curtain, 1-1/2 bathrooms, 1,000 sq ft. Full kitchen: glass top stove microwave, large frige, stainless steel rolling island, under cabinet dishwasher and everything you need. Washer and dryer in laundry room, just off kitchen. Private front door parking. Keypad entry on both front and back door. You get the entire apartment. Please note that the two bedrooms are attached, you have to walk thru one to get to the other. They are separated by a double heavyweight drop cloth curtain and both bedrooms have bathroom facilities. The travel bedroom (the first one you come to) has a half bath and the western bedroom has the full bath with tub/shower. There is a washer and dryer off the kitchen in the back hallway. We operate a shop that is attached (but separate )to the apartment on the street side. On occasion we have to use the back door and hallway where the washer is to get to the garage. We store some of our shop stuff in the hallway also. I brought our washer to the Airbnb since we did more laundry here than at home 🏠, so on rare occasion I may come in the back and toss a load of laundry in or pick it up. You have a latch on your side of the door that you can keep latched. We will never enter the apartment when a guest is renting that space. Feel free to use the back door to go to town if you would like. Door code is the same as the front. You will get the entire apartment to yourself. The entire living space and you are welcome to the laundry room. We will on occasion come into the garage thru the back door/laundry room as that is our work area for the shop. The garage is the only part of the back apartment that you will not have access to. Keypad on front and back door. Codes are the same for both doors. We live about 5 minutes away and are only a phone call away. We will be glad to help you out in any way possible. Unless you call or text us, you probably won't see us except to do lawn care or get into the garage. The apartment is on the back side of Main Street. About a half block away, thru the parking tunnel of the bank you can get to the Main Street and lots of good eateries. There is a Mexican bakery and Dairy Queen 1/2 block away also.
