BBQ and outdoor setting provided. Dog friendly on request (secure yard not provided). The host can be contacted by phone or email during your stay. The small village of Rushworth is only 3 minutes away, and provides all your basic needs including a supermarket, chemist, bakery, butcher, café, pubs and ice cream shop. Things to do in the area include an historic walk through the main street of Rushworth, which has a nine hole golf course. Waranga Basin with its fishing and water sports, the Ghost Town of Whroo with Balaclava Open Cut Mine, cemetery and the Box-Ironbark National Parks. Close to wineries. Other attractions to visit include Kids Town Adventure Playground (Mooroopna) and paddle streamers at Echuca. Plenty of parking is available, including 2 undercover parking spaces. Rushworth is 181 kms north of Melbourne via the Hume Freeway. There are 2 unfenced dams on the property, one of which is in close proximity to the house. Children need to be supervised at all times.
