A modern, air conditioned, two story house with owner upstairs and downstairs 2 bedroom unit for guests. Additionally guests have a large bathroom, separate toilet, living/TV room, kitchenette/ dining area opening onto a leafy courtyard and garden ( with hot tub & treadmill). Shared laundry is available. This is a leafy, safe suburb and the house is 400 metres to express bus station, motorway, 10 minutes to city, Griffith Uni, shops & cafes. Bike path to city. Off street parking available. The house sits in a leafy area with city views. Guests have the downstairs to themselves with a shared entrance and laundry. Owner does not need to intrude into guests section of the house. There is a queen bedroom and a second bedroom with a king single bed (plus trundle if required). Both have built in wardrobes, side tables, lamps, fans & AC. A fully equiped kitchenette is included and is for guests only (oven upstairs is available for guests use if required). Ducted air conditioning is throughout the house (zoned). Guests have a kitchenette for their exclusive use with a dining suite, tea, coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge, induction hot plate, and basic kitchen utensils. The upstairs main kitchen is available for more extensive cooking. There is a guests lounge area, Smart TV ( free to air & paid) and unlimited wifi. Parking available off street. It is a great space for visiting travellers or students with easy access to public transport and to main road routes. Access to the Pacific Motorway (M3/M1) is 500mts, express busway is 400mts and it is 1 &1.5KMs to Griffith University (Nathan & Mt Gravtt campuses). Westfield Garden City is 10minutes south and Brisbane City is 10=-15 minutes north (using either busway or freeway). Cycle pathway is 400mts from the house. There are multiple excellent restaurants, cafes and supermarkets within a 3km radius. Free off street parking available in the driveway I am available via mobile, email and others popular communication apps. Although retired I lead a full life and have family in Brisbane, including 7 grandchildren who sometimes sleep over but will not intrude on your privacy. I have a 15 year old Jack Russell dog ‘Roxy’ who loves a scratch and spends her days sleeping- a very ‘exhausting’ life for her! Kate’s place is located in Holland Park West close to the M1, Express Bus Station, Logan Road, Griffith University, QUT and City bikeway. It is 5 minutes to service station, excellent coffee spot & express grocery store. It is 10 minutes drive to local plaza store including supermarket, post office, multiple cafes, Japanese convenience store, park and a range of cafes/ restaurants. It is a great area for walkers and cyclists (dedicated cycle pathway nearby). There are multiple express bus options to CBD, West End, Garden City, Southbank, Cultural Centre and Griffith University. The Gold Coast is 35 minutes via M1. Entrance to the M1 is 5 minutes away. Logan Road is a few minutes away. Dedicated city cycle pathway is 5 minutes away. Female or couple bookings preferred. Must like/ tolerate dogs - I have a 15 year old Jack Russell who sleeps all day! I generally rise early and I am a non party person. I enjoy guests that are respectful and don’t mind a little interaction noting this is my family home. All areas are cleaned in accordance with Airbnb Covid Safe policy and procedures.
