Relax in a quaint and fresh country guest suite, for up to 4 adults (no children under 13), with all the comforts of home. Just an hour from Brisbane, centrally located between the picturesque towns of Boonah, Kalbar & Harrisville. The popular 'Panorama Motorcycle Museum' is just next door and for a delicious local meal head to the Roadvale Pub (15 min. walk). Meet the alpacas, ducks, dogs and chooks or relax by the fire pit. Breakfast hamper provided on first day. Tea and coffee available. This independent suite, attached to the main house, has an air-conditioned main bedroom, bathroom with spa bath, stylish modern fully equipped kitchenette (single induction hotplate inside, weber Q2000 BBQ outside) and the living area opening onto a common deck with views. Set on over 4 acres with three alpacas, two kelpies (Banjo and Lola), ducks and chooks, a dam, a wide variety of visiting birds, neighbouring sheep, cows and horses. Guests have access to enjoy: the property gardens; a special area with fire pit for gazing at the stars and warming yourself on a cool evening; the slack-line challenge; feeding the animals; collecting eggs; and walking the alpacas, if accompanied by host, when host available. Relax at home or head out to many local places of interest such as: the Camel Farm, various wineries, pubs, cafes, dams, or for the energetic to nearby hiking and mountain bike trails – Mount Joyce or Hidden Vale. Enjoy the breakfast hamper which includes: farm fresh eggs (duck or chook), shallots/herbs from the garden, tomatoes, mushrooms, bread, butter, milk, coffee and tea. Basic ingredients for cooking and utensils provided. We enjoy interacting with our guests but respect your privacy if you prefer a quiet uninterrupted stay. However some activities as mentioned previously may require host accompaniment. There is no public transport nearby and we are unaware of any uber or taxi service in the immediate area. By making a booking at 'Country Home Experience - Roadvale, Scenic Rim' you accept all risks for yourself and your guests and agree not to hold us liable for any injuries, damages or claims associated with staying on our property. And, disappointingly we are unable to cater for children under 12 anymore due to the risk of them entering (unbeknown to parents) the fenced dam, alpaca and dog areas.
