Geoff's Pad in Thames

Our AirBnB is a separate, self-contained wing of our beautiful new home in Totara, 3kms south of Thames Township and gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula. We are about an hour’s drive from Auckland International Airport and close to the many and varied attractions of the Coromandel and the Waikato Region. Easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail. From our elevated position there are uninterrupted views over the township, Firth of Thames and the Kauaeranga Valley. The homestead is new and modern boosting all mod cons. The AirBnB has its own private entrance into a separate wing of the house, giving our Guests all the privacy they desire. There are two bedrooms with Queen-sized double beds and a cosy private lounge with SMART TV (Sky and Netflix). The bathroom has a walk-in shower and large bath. These areas are serviced by a dedicated in-ceiling ducted heat pump to keep Guests cosy both summer and winter. The separate kitchenette area is small. but well appointed. there is an refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, large electric frypan and a Weber BBQ for Guest use. The kitchenette is located in the garage area which is fully insulated, lined, painted, carpeted and heated. In this area is a dining table with four chairs and a couch/daybed. There is a private covered courtyard with a new Weber BBQ for the exclusive use of our Guests. There is a laundry with Miele washing machine and drier available for Guest use on request to the Hosts, and a tub. Our home is all on one level so the living is easy. Guests will find the ambiance of a stroll through our gardens most relaxing. There is plenty of parking available for your use. Even for your trailer boat up to 6m. We look forward to hosting you. We will be here to meet and greet you on your arrival. Also to offer advice and guidance for your exploration of this beautiful part of New Zealand.
