Cornerstone - Garden room

You will find this a cool and comfortable room in a small, suburban ground level house with shared kitchen and sitting areas. Located in an interesting part of Darwin, near to the beach, airport and public transport. Your bathroom is shared with one other guest. This room is air conditioned for your comfort with wifi to keep you connected with the outside world. This is a tropical house with louver windows and a fan in each room. The bathroom is shared with one other guest. You will also share a kitchen, various sitting areas, laundry and pool with guests from our studio room or pool room. We live in a self contained unit at the back of the house. We are on a large block with a lovely garden and we aim to provide a peaceful environment and adjust numbers. We have two lovely old dogs and our cat Sexy Rex! Not to mention all the native creatures like lizards and geckos - it is the tropics! Staying here gives you access to the beach, shops and two bus routes which can take you into the town centre or the local mall. The property provides separate, but shared with other guests, kitchen and laundry facilities. Bikes are available to cycle around the beach front and two local markets. We provide friendly Darwin hospitality but if a quiet time is what you need this is the right spot. This is a true Darwin experience in a well established suburb. Residents walk their dogs and acknowledge you as you stroll on pass. If you don't feel like cooking there are a number of restaurants close by or use a free BBQ along the beach. The Beachfront is the local pub if you feel like mingling. There are two bus routes which can take you almost any where you want to go. ( 30 mins into town, 10 mins to Casuarina ) For the more energetic of you, there are bikes and walking is an option to the local cafés or markets. There are three local supermarkets for last minute items and Woolworths is an easy bike ride. This accommodation is shared with us, other guests in the 2 other rooms we have on offer and we also have two lovely old dogs and our cat Sexy Rexy! Not to mention all the native creatures like lizards and geckos - it wouldn't be Darwin without our local residents.
