Nearby Eureka Stockade Gardens are National Heritage Listed for their association with the Eureka Stockade Rebellion of 3 December 1854. There are three separate showers with privacy curtains in a shared block. There are two separate indoor toilets in a shared block next to the showers. The laundry can be accessed by turning right at the bottom of the stairs and opening the exit door by sliding the latch to the right. Head to the rear of the building and there is a building with two doors. The left side door is the laundry. Also, if you head further down the driveway to the double gates at the rear, there is a toilet block on the left with five toilets. Toilet number one only (indicated by a gold number 1 on the door) may be used at this stage. (the rest are currently being renovated.) There is a functioning washbasin and electric hand dryer there. There are also functioning water fountains which were used by the former Sacred Heart School.
