Enjoyable location in old house, Lake Maggiore

The location is in a separate wing of an old rural house (recently restored ) located in a characteristic ancient hamlet on the Lake Maggiore It is composed of a living, an old-style comfortable kitchen , two bedrooms and a bathroom, ideal for a 4-5 people family. The living room faces a little garden in a courtyard where it is good to relax and picnic. The place is at a few hundred meters from Caldé a most renowned location called the "Portofino of Lake Maggiore" The apartment is a separate wing of an old rural house located in the middle of an ancient hamlet. It is composed of four rooms: kitchen, living, 2 bedrooms, bathroom. It is in rustic style with parquet floors and original gneisses. Ideal for weekends, holidays, relaxation, hiking, swimming. Inside the house you can feel a good sensation of well being given by the combination of the old and thick walls in master stones and gneiss flooring in the kitchen . The place has a separate entrance on the road and access to the inside quiet garden (occasionally shared with the owners) Owners are quite always present in anothyer wing of the house and available for any necessity or suggestions needed °up on the hill nearby the nice church SANTA VERONICA from where one can enjoy a wonderful view of the bay °In the close Caldé square the winery "Sunset" has become a reference for fine wines and dinings. °Also worth mentioning the restaurant-bar "Soul Kitchen" on the same Caldé square along with another simpler but still nicely located restaurant 'Calderone'. °a nice children playground is also available °a new "EXPRESS" mini-market has recently opened (Carrefour Express Via Martiri Albertoli, 20 Castelveccana) °the sorrounding is full of beaches where bathing is very agreable also thanks to clean water, officially recognized by the "blue flag". there are several places to visit all around both on the lake (SANTA CATERINA DEL SASSO, the BORROMEE ISLANDS, VILLA TARANTO, CANNOBIO etc...) and excursions in woods through different footpaths. The owners handle a list, information and several maps on this respect the place is easily reachable by car from any direction. It can be reached by train from Milan: there is a stop right in Caldé in the Milano-Luino line and vice-versa From Malpensa Airport by TILO train, direction Bellinzona, stop at Caldé station and vice-versa.
