Tree House Retreat Between Durham and Chapel Hill

Efficiency apartment in the trees in Orange County, NC. Fifteen minutes to UNC (Chapel Hill) or Duke University (Durham). This quiet, secluded space is 720 square feet of living space and a 400 square feet of covered porch with a view into Duke Forest. The apartment is on 2 acre lot with beautiful gardens. Hiking trails within 1 mile provide long walks along the New Hope Creek in Duke Forest or the NC Nature Conservancy. The apartment is one large space with eating, living and sleeping areas and a bathroom. There is one queen-size bed and a couch that opens to a double-size bed. The kitchen area has a refrigerator with top freezer, sink, storage, microwave, hot plate and electric water kettle. There is no conventional oven or dishwasher. The living area has two couches, tables, TV, stereo, dvd player. WiFi and basic cable are available. During the covid-19 pandemic, your health and safety are paramount. We are using an enhanced cleaning protocol and, as an extra precaution, we are maintaining 3 days between guests. We follow CDC and local guidelines, including face masks. The space is an efficiency apartment with covered porch areas above a garage. It isn't connected to other living spaces and is very private. You can park directly in front of the garage for easiest access. You have access to the entire space which has its own lockable, staircase entrance. During these unusual times of Covid, we are committed to keeping you and ourselves Covid-free by maintaining informed social distancing and cleaning protocols. We always enjoy interacting with our Airbnb guests. Under normal circumstances, we would greet you when you arrive and be available to talk during your stay. Sadly, these times are not normal. Here are some of the things we are doing to make sure you are safe: · We will maintain a 6-foot distance during in-person communications. · We will guarantee that the tree house has been unoccupied (by guests or cleaners) for at least 3 days before you arrive and that all surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned.. · We will provide sanitizing hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen areas for your use. · We will keep a cleaning spray with bleach on the kitchen counter for your use. We can also provide a homemade face mask, if needed. Your peace of mind and health are as important as our own. We are "out in the country" and 4 miles from public transportation. The apartment is accessed via stairs.
