This is one of the two adjacent rooms we have for guests downstairs. Spacious room sleeps one person on a king single bed, added sitting room for working or watching tv, and a modern private shower. The room is sundrenched and enjoys its own entrance and complete privacy. There are a microwave, kettle, cups and a folding table. Breakfast is optional. The train station is 1.8 km away and a circular bus runs there from early morning. Bus stops to the City, station 2 minutes walk. Our house is in a nice leafy street. Its handy location to public transport, shopping centers, and major roads/highways as well as to tourist attractions makes it popular to visitors. Brisbane enjoys a subtropical climate; a warm and humid summer and a mild winter. In summer the room is cooled with the natural breeze and a strong fan. In winter guests are provided with a warm duvet and a blanket and extra blanket if required but there is no heater. All amenities are within a close range including shopping centres and eating places. Locals either walk the 1-1.3 km or drive for a couple of minutes. A leafy residental area close to all amenities and public transport. Mt Cootha lookout and botanical garden is 9 km and the Lone Pine Koala Park is 7 km away. Amenities are so close that you can just walk to the shopping centre and eating places, alternately you can drive 2 minutes to get there. If you want to go to the City the bus stop is just around the corner for the #460 express bus. The railway station is 1.8km and trains will take you either to the city or to Springfield Lakes. Parking is free in the area. The two guest rooms share one bathroom and the sitting room. If the other room is booked at the same time as yours the two of you will use these facilities.
