The little lodger: Cosy Room set in a lush garden

Coming up to the hills? Why not stay a night or two in the pretty hills town of Uraidla? This small self contained room has a double bed, kitchenete facilities, breakfast provided, a small bathroom, parking, private entrance and a small courtyard. Situated a pleasant 500m walk from the township, which boast the refurbished, quirky Uraidla Hotel, two coffee shops and the famed Aristologist and Lost in a Forrest eateries. The self contained room is set in a picturesque garden with lovely views. The little lodger is a 500m walk, along a picturesque track, from Uraidla. Here you will find the best pizzas in Australia, a bakery/cafe, a wonderful breakfast/ lunch venue, a quirky pub and beer garden, the Aristologist. The area has many wineries and boasts lovely walks (from short to long and challenging). Ask Peter for more information and his recommendations. Guests are free to wander through the property and down to the vegetable garden. I live in the main house and am available if you need me, just come down and knock on the door. Basket Range Baker You can order freshly made sourdough (white or rye) and cinnamon scrolls from the Basket Range Baker via (Hidden by Airbnb) or (Hidden by Airbnb) . Bread is $8 a loaf delivered to your door. Order Monday by 7pm for Wednesday delivery, or Thursday by 7pm for Saturday or Sunday orders. We are happy to place an order on your behalf if you’d like this to be delivered over the weekend but we must meet their timelines. If you need any supplies the local Uraidla Pantry is open from 8am-8pm each day There are also plenty of places to eat locally, please see list provided in the folder Uraidla is on 820/821 the bus route , but these operate only Monday to Friday. If you have a car, parking is available adjacent to the room. In the area, there are many walking trails and wineries to enjoy Iron and ironing board available on request. I do have a small Pomeranian who wanders about, please keep the gate closed if possible, although he always manages to wander up to visit the neighbours from time to time anyway. Toilet As we are not connected to a mains sewage system please be considerate with your toilet paper usage as too much will clog the mascerator and the composting system. Maybe flush a couple of times. You will be able to hear the pump and mascerator system working each you flush. If you feel that this system has become blocked please let me know immediately. Shower There in only a 50L hot water tank and will take about half an hour to reheat. Water We are on rain water. Please be considerate when having showers as water is limited. An Air Conditioner provides excellent heating and cooling, nights can be cool/cold for a great part of the year and summer days can be quite warm.
