Millswood Apartment is designed for a couple with 1 queen bedroom, 1 bathroom and a spacious and light-filled kitchen, dining and living area. It is not suitable for 2 single adults or for children as there is only 1 bed and no option to provide extra beds or fold-up beds. Millswood Apartment is a 1-storey solid brick building close to, but separate from, the 2-storey main house. Guests have their own entrance and can enjoy the outside patio, the unheated outdoor swimming pool and rear garden. The swimming season is usually from late November/early December to the end of March. The apartment is self-contained and private. Guests can use the swimming pool, paved patio and lawn. Parking is not available in the driveway and guests can park in Douglas Street, which is a No Through Road in a residential area. Owners Richard and Judy live in the main house and believe strongly in enabling B&B guests to enjoy their privacy. Help and information are readily available when required. Millswood Apartment is in a quiet residential area and is a short walk from Orphanage Park which offers walking paths, the seasonal Brown Hill Creek, 2 sports ovals, a tennis court and playground. The cosmopolitan King William Road, with bakeries, cafes, restaurants, bars and shops is within walking distance. Guests can drive into the city in 10 minutes or catch a train from Millswood station, a tram from Goodwood or a bus from King William Road or Goodwood Road 7 days a week. Millswood is an ideal place from which to participate in or enjoy the "Festival City" with the Tour Down Under in January, Adelaide Festival of Arts in March, Fringe Festival in mid-February to mid-March, Womadelaide in March and many other events throughout the year. The owners have nearly 25 years' experience of owning and operating Naracoorte Cottages, which has 6 self-contained and non-hosted B&B houses in Naracoorte, home of the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves National Park.
