Set within a garden full of coconut trees and filao trees, it leads right onto a private miles long beach and a gorgeous lagoon. Spacious and comfortable, yet simple and unpretentious, it's easy to feel home here. Full house rental only. No shared accomodation. We want everyone to feel welcome and make the most of their stay. Guests can contact us for any advice or question they may have regarding the house and how to make the most of their stay. Set on the east coast of the island, Belle Mare boast a 10km long beach of some of the best white sand and azure ocean of Mauritius. Home to the island most prestigious hotels, the east coast remains preserved and is known by the rather romantic sobriquet of La Cote Sauvage (the wild coast). Yet, it is only a 10 drive to the closest town of Flacq with all desired amenities and a 30 mins drive to Grand Bay for more hustle and bustle With some favourite activities / exploration the island has to offer nearby (ile aux cerfs, diving, kite surfing, nature treks etc..) it remains a firm favourite. Mauritius is not great on public transport particularly within coastal areas. Renting a car is best! Parking is available right on the property and tips to drive around will be offered! Taxis are an option albeit more expensive.
