Living room with chairs and TV Secured parking within premises for 2 wheelers and safe street parking for cars Our area is a residential area within the city limits but away from the busy, noisy city centre. It is suitable for guests who prefer a calm, peaceful, neat, spacious and a traditional home atmosphere. The guests are encouraged to feel at home. It is on the way to Alanganallur village which is world famous for "Jallikattu" or the Bull taming sport which takes place during Pongal festival in the month of January. It takes half-an-hour travel time. Keeladi, an archeological site show casing the life of ancient Tamils and their well developed life style is about 20 km and 30 minutes travel from our place. Our place is en-route to "Sivanandha Meenakshi Ashram" and is about 20 minutes travel by government bus. "Trividia Tennis Academy" at Kadachanendhal Madurai, is at a distance of 4 km and can be reached in 10 minutes. "Bhramakumaris Rajayoga Meditation center" is at a 5 minutes distance. "Shri Ramakrishna Math and Vivekanandha Cultural Center"and meditation center, Reserve line, Madurai is at about 2 km from our place and can be reached by any government bus from Iyer bungalow bus stop. 3 MONTHS YOGA CLASSES ARE CONDUCTED BY THEM. A swimming pool maintained by Jain Vidhyalaya is at about 5 minutes walk and is open for outsiders during the early mornings. Our place is en-route to ISKCON Madurai, Sri Sri Radha Mathurapati Temple, and can be reached by government bus in 10 minutes. It is away from the over crowded, traffic congested, busy city area and is an ideal place for guests who want to stretch out and have privacy after a busy day. Our place is well connected with all parts of Madurai. There are frequent Government buses, cabs, autos and private buses. The rate for bus and share Autos travel is Rs. 10 per person and the Cabs/Auto rickshaws charge Rs. 100-150 to most of the tourist spots. Most of the sight seeing places are within a radius of 5-8 km. Banks, ATMs, hospitals, supermarkets, schools, hotels, bus stop, auto stand etc are within walking distance. Local food are tasty and are reasonably priced and posh restaurants are also available in 10-15 minutes drive. A Mall is at a distance of 3km. Guests are provided with a private A/C bedroom with attached bathroom and a small private living room and workroom. If more than 2 guests then a second bedroom with a double bed is also available. We live in the same premises and hence would be very happy to help the guests, if required. I am a practicing Acupuncturist and Guests can avail Acupuncture treatment if interested. It is a calm residential area. It is in north Madurai and is nearer to Matuthavani bus stand which is at 3 km distance with frequent buses to all other important spots of Madurai. Supermarkets, hospitals, eateries both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, ATMs, banks etc. are available in 5 mts walk. Bus stop is at 2 mts walk. Frequent buses ply through our place and Cabs, autos are available all time. Further a Mall and Posh restaurants (Email hidden by Airbnb) mutation to other parts of the city can be done very easily by buses, cabs, autos which are available any time of the day/night. Free parking is available at the premises. Our place is at about 5 km from the centre of the city and 5-6 km from most of the tourist spots.
