Modern and comfortable one bedroom apartment, can comfortably sleep 4. Baby cot can be provided upon request. The apartment is located in a quiet suburb with great access to bush walking tracks, mountain bike trails and water access. It is within walking distance to a cafe, convenience store and bottle shop. Short drive to train station and not far from National Park and Cronulla. The apartment has a self-contained kitchen with full cooking equipment and some basic supplies. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed and small TV with DVD player. Access to the bathroom is via the bedroom. The bathroom has a large shower, sink and toilet. The living area has the kitchenette, double fold-out sofa bed, a table with four stools and a TV. We hope you feel at home and enjoy what Grays Point has to offer. Access to the apartment is via a separate entrance and there is plenty of street parking available. Laundry facilities can be arranged. Wifi is included. A baby cot can be provided upon request. We live in the main house above the studio and are happy to help if you have any questions at all! Grays Point is a small suburb with picturesque views of the Port Hacking estuary. Grays Point is adjacent to the Royal National Park and the suburbs of Gymea Bay and Kirrawee. There are multiple walking and mountain bike tracks within 1km of the apartment, which link it with locations such as Audley in the Royal National Park, Engadine and Heathcote. There is a small shallow boat ramp located at Swallow Rock Reserve for launching trailer boats, canoes and kayaks. Swallow Rock is ideal for a family picnic or BBQ, facilities are provided and it's a safe area for kids to have a dip in the shallow water. Whilst Grays Point is a quiet suburb, you will find all the essentials here - bottle shop, take away, cafe, general store and many local businesses such as yoga studio, home spa and candle making classes. Nearby suburbs of interest include Gymea with lots of cafes and an art gallery, Miranda with a huge Westfield shopping Centre and Cronulla with its famous beaches. The National Park can be accessed by foot or bike from Grays Point or road access is also available a bit further out. There are two bus lines that connect Grays Point to Miranda (via Gymea) and to Sutherland (via Kirrawee). Buses run about once an hour with more frequent services during peak hours. More info - (URL HIDDEN) From Kirrawee or Gymea you can catch a train in either direction - Cronulla or Bondi Junction (via Sydney CBD). The train to Cronulla takes around 15 minutes and the train to Sydney CBD around 45 minutes. These stations are a 7 minute drive away or if you want to walk, it would take you around an hour. A car is convenient to get around and provides easier access to the National Park and neighbouring suburbs. Living close to the National Paek means we often get friendly visitors, including deer, possums and a variety of native birds.
