Eddies By The Sea

Cool coastal living a mere 16 paces from beautiful Hele Beach, Ilfracombe. Lovely sea views from the front and patio terrace, spacious living/dining room, WIFI, Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, downstairs cloakroom, 3 bedrooms, generous family bathroom, private rear patio and BBQ area. Eddies by the Sea has been completely renovated by us - its what we do! Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, it has been fitted with a brand new central heating system and boiler for those cooler times of the year. The house is just about the closest to the beach here in Hele Bay with a sea facing front garden and terrace. The South West Coast Path passes right in front of the house with plenty of walks nearby to watch the sunset, walk the path to Watermouth Cove or climb over Hillsborough to Ilfracombe with its picturesque harbour. You will have exclusive use of the whole house. The minimum stay for Eddies is generally 4 nights but we are currently trialling 3 night bookings over the autumn/winter. During summer school holidays the minimum stay is 7 nights, normally with a saturday check-in. There may be some flexibility depending on when school holidays fall and other bookings in the diary, so please feel welcome to ask for your preferred dates. We live just across the road so are available for help or enquiries should you wish. Its up to you! Hele Bay, (pronounced like the bit of your foot!), lies about a mile to the east of Ilfracombe and has the essential amenities needed for a perfect holiday such as a well stocked local shop and garage, a pub, a café and plenty of wonderful walks. Not forgetting the lovely enclosed beach that is safe for swimming and poking about in the rockpools. There is a large car park nearby (£2.70 per day, free on Sundays) if there is no space in the road, which is unusual. There is a bus stop at the end of Beach Road with services to Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Lynton but you will get about best by car. And on foot! There is unlimited on street parking, although we ask that you try to refrain from parking directly outside neighbours' houses and place the supplied sign in your windscreen. There is a long stretch of the road with no houses.
