Cumnock Cottage

Cumnock Cottage is situated in the Wollondilly countryside overlooking distant views of Sydney. It is surrounded by one acre of garden. Cumnock Cottage is a fully self contained one bedroom cottage with a large open plan kitchen diner and lounge room. Cumnock Cottage is situated in a tranquil setting. Bird watchers will be delighted by the native birds; bellbirds call, kookaburras laugh, parrots, galahs, cockatoos squawk and small wrens and robins scurry around the garden all day. The newly built cottage gives comfortable accommodation. Outstanding views from the window with distant views of Sydney contributes to the Cumnock Cottage experience. Guests have access to a large fully equipped kitchen and lounge room, fully equipped laundry and bathroom (no bath but large walk in shower), linen provided. Air conditioned. Double bed and a single bed in the bedroom with walk-in robe. Parking available in attached carport. Guests are welcome to use the garden and gazebo for your enjoyment. Our cottage is self check in. We will message you prior to your booking with your unique check in code for the key lock box and information that will assist to make your stay enjoyable. You will enjoy exploring the many attractions within close proximity of Orangeville. To mention but a few: enjoy a picnic at Warragamba Dam, explore historic country townships of Camden, Picton and Campbelltown. Visit the Mount Annan Botanical Gardens, or Meet Thomas the Tank Engine at Thirlmere Train Museum. Visit historic Belgenny Farm or if you are after thrill and adventure, try paint ball at Cawdor or Go Carting at Picton. Sky dive or take a hot air balloon flight if you dare. Pick fresh fruit from the local orchard or enjoy an meal at one of many restaurants within close proximity and much more. Best access is by vehicle. We have a limited bus service for the area with a bus stop within walking distance. Our only water supply is rain tank water. Water runs through a filter purifier then to the cottage. We would like to advise our guests that due to the tannin released from gum leaves our water can sometimes appear a little discoloured. We have a filter purifier tap in the kitchen.
