Welcome to Bangor, a gateway to Acadia/Bar Harbor. I'm Reda, a 5-star host offering 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living space in my sparkling clean home. A stay with me is like a stay with your favorite Granny, your home away from home! Free driveway parking. Quaint and quiet neighborhood. 10 min. walk to waterfront concerts, Shaw's grocery, Stephen King's house, & downtown Bangor. 15 min. walk to Cross Insurance Event Center & Hollywood Casino. 3 miles from the airport. When you stay with me, you'll be staying in a clean, quiet, and spacious home. Whether you want to sip coffee on the front porch as the sun goes down or jet in and out for a music festival at the Waterfront, my home is your home for your stay! I've hosted many traveling nurses, flight attendants, U of Maine students, and visitors to Acadia National park and Bar Harbor. The "Blue Room" features a brand new, comfortable queen size bed, a small expandable table, and a spacious closet for your items. The "Green Room" features a brand new, comfortable full size bed, a sitting space, and a large dresser and closet for your items. Both rooms are equipped with ceiling fans but I do not have air conditioning. Lastly, during the Summer, the front porch features a cozy bench and two chairs for enjoying the Summer breeze. I have extra pillows and blankets upon request. Many of my guests have been treated to my delicious banana bread, which I often bake for breakfast. You won't find any TVs on my property which provides for a calmer, quieter stay. That being said, you're welcome to bring your devices with you, I have free WiFi! Sign my guestbook before you leave and see notes from guests around the world. You will have shared access to the bathroom, living room and kitchen spaces. You are welcome to use my toiletries during your stay and please help yourself to coffee, tea, snack bars and fruit for a "continental style" breakfast. You're welcome to use the fridge and kitchen, as well, if you prefer to cook. You are also welcome to park your vehicle in my driveway as I don't have a car myself - it's all yours! I live on the premises and am happy to answer questions or offer suggestions about the area if you'd like. I'm also happy to offer quiet and privacy during your stay. I will likely be home through most of your stay but you can come and go as you please. My quiet hours are 10PM - 6AM during which you are still welcome to all spaces in the house. I just ask you remain respectful of noise volume. Quiet, safe, beautiful scenery and architecture all around, very walkable, residential neighborhood. Very close to Stephen King's house, just a short 10 minute walk. Also 10 minute walk from waterfront concerts, grocery stores, and more. 15 minute walk to downtown Bangor, Cross Insurance Event Center, Hollywood Casino and more. Take an Uber for an even shorter ride! Just 3 miles from the airport. There is a great deal within walking distance, as mentioned. Downtown you can catch a short bus ride to several shopping malls which give you even more options. I can help you navigate bus routes or you can simply call an Uber and be anywhere you want in Bangor in under 15 minutes! The beauty of small town living. Parking is free and available in my driveway. I do not have air conditioning or TVs in my home.
