The house, on 5 acres of lush bush, is one with its surroundings with beautiful timber logs as the foundations and decorated with exotic art and furniture. It is a unique pole house, built with hard wood timber, which feels very private as it is situated in the rainforest, without any houses in sight although we are 5 minutes away from Mt Warning and the village of Uki. You can only hear many different variety of birds and the forest surrounding the house is magic. You can enjoy walking on the land, the yards, the pool and the creek. You can also have access to the kitchen and the living areas, the lounge and the verandah. I live on the premises however I go out and leave my guests their own privacy. I am available to recommend places for them to visit and I ensure they feel at home in the house. I am 5 minutes to Mount Warning and to the World heritage rainforest in Wollumbin National Park. You can drive five minutes to the historical village of Uki, enjoy a meal in the trendy coffee shops or just visit the local pub. Mount Jerusalem National Park is also just around the corner, where you can enjoy a day out at Hell's hole Falls. You can also visit Murwillambah, which is a lively and eclectic city, full of character with many restaurants and coffee shops. We are not far form water holes and from the Gold coast, Coolangatta is 35 minutes away. If you like the beach, I am around 38 kms to Kingscliff and 54 kms to Byron Bay. Mullumbimby is also not far, 43 kms away. There are buses from the Gold coast to Murwillambah, which is only 10 minutes in the car. I could come to pick you up from Murwillambah.
