There’s a spacious recently renovated central bathroom, complete with a freestanding claw-footed bath and separate shower. At the rear of the home is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with bi-fold doors opening out onto a spacious undercover entertaining space and extensive, lush garden. Well behaved dogs are very welcome! Please let us know ahead of time so that we can leave treats, bags and bowls out. Entire house including front & back gardens and verandas. I live a short drive away so if you’re stuck for any reason, give me a call, otherwise, I will leave you to it. There are several really fabulous places to eat & drink within walking distance. My favourites are The middle pub does the best pub food in the area. The best coffee in town can be be found at The Borough Dept Store. If you like Indian food, Diva’s is excellent. Walk, cycle or ride The Great Southern Rail Trail which extends from Leongatha to Toora (75km). The mostly flat or gently undulating trail goes through lush dairy farmland, areas of remnant bush and lowland scrub. It climbs from the foothills of Fish Creek up past Mount Hoddle and then down a steep descent through dense forest out into magnificent views of Wilsons Promontory and Corner Inlet. The town is a short 5 minute walk away and there is an Olympic size pool only 1 min walk away. This operates during summer only. Also in walking distance, is a bulk billing doctor, remedial massage therapist, boutique brewery/pizzeria, IGA, BP service station, 2 pubs and a good range of restaurants and cafes including the exceptionally good Borough Dept Store which has the best food and coffee in town, for sure! 1 minute walk to Olympic size outdoor pool with additional kids wading pool and plenty of lawn to catch some sun. * Summer opening only.
