A nexus of activity, the Sky Meadow Retreat Barn welcomes your guests and sets the stage for a meaningful experience. With full facilities including kitchen, dining area, and lounge space, as well as a large open area perfect for events like wedding receptions or group activities like yoga, dancing, meditation, or talks, the Retreat Barn is the central hub of Sky Meadow. The Barn includes multiple lodging options, including bunk rooms for close groups, some more private quarters, and two boutique suites. It also has a full commercial kitchen in which you can prepare meals. Accommodations in the Retreat Barn provide homey sleeping quarters for up to 12 people in 3 “bunk-style” bedrooms on the main floor. The large event space/yoga studio is perfect for group retreats and gatherings. All amenities are easily accessible, including two bathrooms and the main kitchen & dining area. The Back Porch offers tranquil space to sit with a morning cup of coffee or tea and look out on the pasture as the steam rises off the ponds. The Sunflower Room is located in the Lower Barn area and can sleeps up to 5 in its two bunk beds (the lower bunk of one is a full). The room’s wide window offers a pleasant view out on the middle garden and berry patches. It is located conveniently near the Lower Barn Bathroom (1 toilet, 1 shower). The Lavender Room is located in the Lower Barn and sleeps up to 3 (one twin bunk and one single twin). It gets its name from the robust bed of lavender just outside the window. It is conveniently located by the Lower Barn Bathroom. A spacious private suite on the east side of the Retreat Barn’s upper floor, the Sunrise Suite comes equipped with its own kitchenette, writing desk, and sleeping for two in the cozy loft’s queen-size bed. Another spacious private suite is located on the Retreat Barn’s west side, the Sunrise Suite comes equipped with kitchenette, dining space, and sleeping for two in the loft’s queen-size bed. In addition, there are a number of charming outbuildings, including cottages, a yurt, and even a "Hobbit House"! These can lodge guests as well, but have limited amenities and are not available during the winter months. Two caretakers, Brendan and Erin, live on site in a private area and will be in the general vicinity to assist you should any needs arise. For over 20 years Sky Meadow Retreat Center has been actively helping people get back to their true selves and tap into the beauty all around them. The only building unavailable for guest access is the main house, which is where the hosts live, as well as the animal pasture directly behind the main house. I will be out of your hair if desired. Everything you need on the property is within walking distance There are animals on site including alpacas, sheep, chickens, and a very lovable barn cat named Shadow. All are very sweet.
