Private home set on 11 wooded acres with in-ground heated pool (open May 15 - October 1). Come ready to relax and enjoy the serene and private setting. One hour to NYC. This comfortable home is very private and was set up for relaxation and enjoyment. You enter the house through an open foyer that looks out large windows into lush woods. The first floor has a large room with a 2 sided wood burning fireplace. This room is used as an office (with wired and wireless wifi access and a private deck) and a living room. Intended for napping and relaxation - no tv here! A large dining room adjoins this living space and has access to another deck with a gas grill. The dining room and front foyer lead to the kitchen with quartz countertops and GE monogram appliances, gas stove top, double ovens, a beverage fridge and wine fridge. The kitchen holds a round 6 foot table perfect for long dinners and opens into a family room with gas fireplace, two big comfy leather couches and a flat screen tv with cable. Additionally, large doors off the kitchen open to stone patios that lead to a green egg charcoal grill, large cowboy cauldron for outdoor fires, a comfortable cushioned seating area overlooking the landscaped pond and up to the heated (extra charge) in ground pool (which is lit for night swimming). Upstairs 2 bedrooms with king beds and 1 bedroom with 2 full size beds share a full bath. A master bedroom is appointed with a king bed, walk in closet, large luxuriously appointed bath, wood burning fireplace and small private deck overlooking the wooded back of the house. All bedrooms have Ritz Carlton mattresses. Laundry room is upstairs by bedrooms and packed with sheets, towels and pool towels. The basement is set up as a playroom with 2 queen futons and has half bath. Perfect for kids and/ or extra guests. The house can comfortably sleep 14. Pack n play available. House, in ground heated pool (May 1 thru October 1) grounds and 2 car garage Happy to help guests get acquainted to the area but we'll be about 40 minutes away in the event anything is needed. House is very private and feels remote - but easily accessible to Cold Spring, Garrison and Hudson Valley. Our kids ride at a local horse farm and we enjoy the Cold Spring farmer's market, dining and shopping. Several parks with trails for hiking nearby. Car required We love this house and as our kids are getting older it's not getting as much use. We need some people to help us use it and keep it in good shape.
