Maine House est 1898

Well preserved and restored Victorian era home that is divided into 3 separate apartments. This one bedroom apartment has a large living room, complete kitchen, walk in closets, and office with desk. The living room has a couch and TV with access to Netflix. WIFI internet provided. The house has many of its original features but has been converted from it's single family construction to a three apartment building. I've recently purchased it and have been under going a large restoration of the building. It has steam heat radiators and original windows, most operate normally but it's a work in progress to get them all just right. The entrance has private storage for winter coats and boots and there is an additional door/lock segmenting the apartment you are renting from the rest of the building. There is a front porch and ashtray, please do not smoke indoors. There is ample parking available next door in front of the vacant property. Additionally there is gate parking available behind the house, it is a rather narrow entrance so probably only suitable for sedans and compact cars. The plumbing has been replaced top to bottom and is all lead-free PEX tubing, the house has always had a copper service line and a new one was installed Dec 2018. The house is still under going updates so you may hear work going on during the day but I will be sure to make you aware of anything of that nature before you arrive. You have access to your apartment, the backyard, and the basement for laundry. My home is a block away and I'm available at your convenience. I'm an original Flintstone and take a lot of pride in showing people the beauty that exists behind all the negative headlines Flint is known for. I'll happily show you all the best spots our amazing town had to offer has to offer. The neighborhood is downtown Flint. This property is within walking distance of Saginaw St and all it has to offer. There are number of local restaurants, bars, and art galleries in the area as well as a Farmer's Market. The chamber of commerce offers a guide of attractions and I'd be happy to recommend others upon request. Saginaw St is within walking distance as well as the bus station. This is Michigan though, I would recommend car rental (via Bishop Airport is always the cheapest) or Uber/Lyft. There is growing availability of Uber and you can typically book a ride at all but the 3am-6am times, have not checked Lyft lately. If you need transport to or from airport I may be able to assist, please request during your booking. There may be some construction going on in adjacent apartments during the day but I will be sure to make you aware of that when booking.
